The Goblin employs a rigid head design, commonly known as a DFC head.
This head requires very precise and rigid dampeners to be reliable.
By combining our engineering and helicopter experience we have designed special dampers that hold the spindle and remove play to emphasize the rigid head flight characteristics.
To fly the Goblin pushed to the limit without compromise requires special dampersdesigned without compromise.
Lynx Dampers are two piece - one O-ring to maintain the necessary preload (to remove side by side play) and one bushing in techno-polymer auto-lube to assure maximum load and friction resistance.
These dampers give your Goblin an incredibly precise feel in the air. The difference is visible, particularly in fast forward flight and with quick pitch changes.
Our tests show that the Lynx dampers must be used at high head speeds, for Goblin 630 we advise 2350 rpm and for Goblin 700 we advise 2300 ? 2350.
